Ingredients:
Cooked raw rice-1/2 cup
Milk-1 litre
Sugar-1/2 cup
Saffron- a pinch
Procedure:
1.Pour milk in a thick bottom vessel and allow it to boil.
2.Add half a cup of cooked rice to the boiling milk, stir it frequently.
3.Let it boil till it very thick (like kheer).
4.Add sugar and saffron.
5.Garnish with sliced almonds.
This delicious Paal payasam can be served either hot or cold.
